Some New Works

It's been a long time since the last post here (which was originally posted May 20th), but I'm still alive and hope to show you that the silence hasn't been entirely in vain.

Within the last couple of weeks, we've seen the release of a new layout which should offer a more efficient experience for desktop users.

Each site is now designed to use a navigation menu which allows easy access to the main index, actions relevant to the site you're accessing, and a preferences section. The preferences section currently allows you to choose between three different themes, in case the default light theme is not to your liking, and I expect it will become more useful in the future.

gPress is now considered to be an integral part of the home page, and it has a new layout, influenced by Miller columns, which allow quicker access to information than the older design did. In like fashion, the Hyperlinks and About pages now feature tables of content for more rapid navigation. These have all been tested in text-mode browsers and should be more usable in that context than most websites on the internet.

Last but not least, I'm pleased to announce the introduction of a new feature. "Fill in the Blanks" became available to the public last night, and it is past time to make a public announcement about it. In this Hangman-like puzzle game, you try to come up with the correct text in a word, phrase or sentence, with or without help from a clue, in as few letter guesses as possible.

Thanks for your patience in waiting through this wilderness period. I hope to have overcome this writer's block, and expect that you'll be seeing more writing and more site features here in the near future.

As always, if you have any comments, questions or concerns, contact me and make me aware of them!
